**Brief description of the job role**:
**It is Essential that you are a Car Driver due to the nature of the work.**

You will need to be a genuinely caring person and want to make a difference, who is willing to go above and beyond to keep our clients as independent as they can be and safe within their own homes.

A typical day would involve assisting clients with their routines, be it morning, lunchtime, evening, or weekend routines. This could involve assisting with getting out of bed, preparing meals, prompting medications, assisting clients to wash, dress and assisting with personal care. You may also do light housework or take them out into the local community to attend appointments.

You are not just a carer you are a companion too, so the relationship and trust you have with your client is very important. They need to feel at ease with you and relaxed.

Due to the nature of the areas Drivers are Essential. A driving license and use of own car is a must.
