We are searching for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our Front of House team at the**studio** in Birmingham City Centre for 20 hours per week.

**about the job**:
We are a busy events venue in Birmingham City Centre. The role is based on our reception desk so we are looking for a friendly person, with great customer service skills. Due to the nature of the role, we require someone who has full availability as the role is on a rota basis, depending on when we have meetings and events. This is mainly weekdays but can involve weekends and evenings.

This would suit someone with a background in events organisation or hotel/corporate reception desk.
- Work at the Studio’s main reception desk, greeting customers, directing clients to the correct room and providing information to clients.
- This is a desk based job, which should be manned at all times.
- Keeping the area clean and tidy at all times, keeping the area uncluttered. Assisting clients with the coffee bar and keeping this area clean and tidy also.
- Support with our finance team with raising invoices and uploading on to our systems
- Using our event booking system to correctly direct visitors to the correct event space.
- General reception duties and administrative assistance.
- The hours will be based on a rota system

**about you**:

- Being the first port of call, you are the face of the Studio. First impressions count, so you need to be well presented, friendly and willing to help.
- You will have great people skills, be organised and efficient.
- You need to have knowledge and experience of using various Social Media, Microsoft office.
- Experience in raising invoices or finance administration would be an advantage
- Your English written skills must be excellent as you will be ‘voice’ of Studio.
- Reception experience preferred.

Born as ‘The Orange Studio’ in 1999 we started with our award-winning Birmingham location and just 5 meeting rooms but it’s safe to say we’ve grown a lot since then. We became the**studio** in 2006 and we are now an independent company, owned and run by the same team since the beginning but now having grown to 46 meeting rooms across 4 locations around the UK.

Though we’ve grown a lot our friendly, people focused ethos and culture very much remains at our heart. Pay: £11.44 per hour
