On-demand Bus Driver

Contract to start on 25-02-24 until 31-07-24 with a possible extension.
**Purpose of Post**
Be responsible to the On-Demand Transport Team Leader who will have overall responsibility for their appraisal, management, health & safety and training.
Assist in leading the launch of an exciting transport initiative.
React and address any operational issues that arise day-to-day.
Provide safe and efficient transport for the on-demand service, providing outstanding customer care that is polite, friendly, helpful and supportive to all passengers and members of the public.
Ensure that all appropriate vehicle checks are completed before any route commences to ensure vehicles are ready, properly prepared and clean for their route.
**Key Responsibilities**
Be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting the public as per the guidelines and policies set for on-demand transport service.
Assist in the efficient and effective dispatch of the Client Fleet to undertake a on-demand transport scheme
**Main Duties**
Provide safe and efficient transport for the on-demand service, providing outstanding customer care that is polite, friendly, helpful and supportive to all passengers and members of the public.
Ensure that all appropriate vehicle checks are completed before any route commences to ensure vehicles are ready, properly prepared and clean for their route.
Ensure route data is completed and accurate and liaise with the on-demand transport team as required.
To maintain accurate and up to date information for all transport services.
Assisting in resolving service problems and difficulties that may arise.
Assisting in dealing with operational issues and make appropriate arrangements.
Have a strong ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
Have the skills and knowledge to support individuals within our communities who may have additional needs and/or disabilities.
Adhere to all the Client's policies and procedures in relation to Passenger Transport.
