**About the role**

As an SD-WAN Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, strategic direction, and technical leadership to our clients in implementing and optimising SD-WAN solutions. You will work closely with architects and clients, and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient SD-WAN solutions tailored to their specific needs. This role requires deep technical expertise in SD-WAN technologies, strong consulting skills, and the ability to technically lead and mentor a team of delivery consultants. The Principal SD-WAN Consultant will be fully engaged with enterprise and service provider network services provision, technical network delivery, hands on configuration, and documentation management.

**What will you bring?**
- Certification or technical capability equivalent to Fortinet NSE7 certification.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a network consultant, architect, or engineer, with a focus on SD-WAN solutions within an MSP.
- In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, such as Fortinet, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, security, and cloud networking concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in solution design, including network topologies, security policies, and high-availability configurations.
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Excellent consulting and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong technical leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively mentoring teams.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and reliable solutions.
