**The Role**

The purpose of the role is to drive education strategy for the Nelsons’ portfolio aligning the team behind the programs and content that support the commercial development of our brands and drive their penetration and growth in market. This role leads Educational Strategy, Content, Educational Delivery Approach, and Direct Educational Training both internally and externally. You will deliver key education programs with the global education network to equip the wider Nelsons business, key opinion leaders and customers with the product knowledge to drive recommendations, retail sales listings and consumer understanding - and thereby accelerate commercial growth.

The Global Education Lead will be the trusted product expert in the business for the Nelsons portfolio of products. Working seamlessly with the Innovation team, they will empower product knowledge in new products and support in world class launch toolkits and training delivery. This is a change role. There is a need to simplify and magnify the impact of the company’s educational training approach across its countries. We need our new leader to drive clear scalability of our education offerings, and tight alignment with Commercial strategy.

**What you'll be doing...**

**Product Expertise**
- Lead as the Product Expert within the business to guide other teams on product claims and resolving queries.

**Educational Content**
- Lead the update and simplification of the brands’ educational content - to maximise its impact across our target audiences.

**Educational Delivery Approach**
- Develop and lead the appropriate approach to deliver scale and impact of education and training. For example: the role of online training vs face-to-face training, and direct training vs establishing a train-the-trainer network
- Develop and lead the right approach for scale and impact
- Propose the network (train-the-trainer etc)
- Face-to-face vs online tools and training

**Direct Educational Training**
- Lead and co-ordinate direct educational training, partnering with education teams and sales & marketing teams in the wider business
- Represent Nelsons and educate about the brands at selected industry and healthcare professional events

**Financial Budgeting and Reporting**
- Lead the budgeting process for Global Education and partner with country teams to develop the wider Educational approach and budget
- Lead with creativity and agility to maximise the impact of the Education and Training budget by smart choices of tools and any external partners

**People**
- Lead the direct and indirect education teams to create a powerful network of brand trainers and upskilled sales and marketing teams
- Lead Global Education Manager. Partner with Education teams in US, France, Germany and distributor markets

**Requirements**:
**What you'll bring to the role...**
- Experience leading multi-country education and training in a regulated category.
- Proven track record of driving change to educational practices - delivering impact, simplicity and value-for-money
- Strong leader used to working in cross-functional teams to deliver new projects and education improvement initiatives.
- Tech savvy and able to embrace new advancements to catalyse their education function.
- Confident and articulate presenter and trainer
- Credible Education Leader in front of all audiences: Healthcare Professionals, Retailers, Internal Teams and at External Events.
- Proven experience of building high-performing direct and indirect teams
- Passion for natural healthcare
- Experience of leading both online and offline training
