Position Overview:
Front of House Staff play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and excellent customer service within a bar or pub setting. They are responsible for delivering high-quality drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar. This position requires a combination of bartending skills, customer service proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the bar top, equipment, and storage areas.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of glassware, utensils, and potentially hazardous substances.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change to customers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and teamwork across all areas of the establishment.
- Uphold the establishment's policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol service, age verification, and responsible serving practices.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up the bar area, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve skills and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in a bar or pub environment, preferably in a bartender or front of house role.
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktail recipes and preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the establishment's operating hours.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects such as kegs or cases of beverages.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
