We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Communities Team as a Financial Inclusion Officer.

**Your role**:
Working with low-income residents across East Suffolk, you will be integral in delivering effective financial support to families and individuals including welfare advice and support, assistance in making and maintaining Universal Credit and other benefits claims and providing budgeting and money advice. You will need to collaborate with a wide range of organisations and partnerships across public, private, and voluntary/community sectors, and with relevant partners including Citizens Advice East Suffolk and other specialist organisations including Disability Advice North East Suffolk (DANES) and Disability Advice Service East Suffolk (DAS).

You will work with residents across East Suffolk identified through the Low-Income Family Tracker software and other data sources available locally as being in need of support to maximise their income and reduce levels of debt. You will also seek opportunities to proactively engage those you are supporting with other sources of support, where relevant, including social prescribing.
