**About the role**

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Celebrity Lead to champion our celebrity strategy and create passionate, high profile supporters across all areas of our work. You’ll build meaningful relationships with our supporters and their agents to create highly visible, high impact moments.

Responsible for one Celebrity Officer, you’ll lead our outreach and negotiation with new and existing celebrity supporters. You’ll design and deliver creative engagement plans that align our supporters with our organisational priorities.

You’ll work closely with communications colleagues to deliver newsworthy stories across the year and maximise the fundraising, campaigning, and awareness raising opportunity with our celebrity supporters.

**What you'll do**
- Implement a celebrity stewardship strategy, and individual plans to support this, aligned with our new organisational strategy and creating highly committed and engaged high profile supporters
- Work with colleagues across the charity to maximise our celebrity supporters across all communications channels and areas of our work, highlighting new opportunities as they arise
- Led on outreach and negotiation with new, potential supporters for charity activities including the Special Events portfolio
- Be the first point of contact for celebrities looking for support, signposting them within the charity or acting as intermediary for confidential requests

**What you'll bring**
- Significant experience of working with celebrities and their management teams
- A creative and proactive approach to celebrity engagement and ongoing stewardship
- Negotiation and persuasion skills matched with discretion and sensitivity
- Understanding and experience of working with PR and social media to amplify opportunities

As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week. You’ll be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.
