Job Title: Sin Bin Clerk
Department: Inventory
Location: Newcastle SC
Reports To: Inventory Manager
Salary £25,471.80
39 hours per week
7am-3pm
Job Purpose:
To assist the Inventory Manager in the effective and accurate maintenance of the Service Centre Inventory System. To assist in the audit of all Inventory related tasks/functions and ensure that correct procedures are followed.
Key Accountabilities
- To clear stock held within the Sin Bin area by following correct process for system inputting
- To putaway stock processed through Sin Bin to correct pick locations
- Maintain accurate stock levels to ensure a good customer service level is achieved
- To generate and process count book sheets
- Review and monitor stock accuracy using key performance indicators ( KPI’s)
- To process outbound and inbound Inter Warehouse Transfer of stock
- To validate and audit the Quarantine, Available slots, NIL balance on hand and 3 day stock holding reports
- Ensure correct processing of discontinued and short dated products
- Ensure overstocked items are reviewed and monitored
- To liaise with Central Replenishment on stock level availability
- Ensure correct procedures are adhered to for product recalls
- To cover Booking On Clerk with inputting deliveries onto warehouse computer systems
- To cover Bought Ledger Clerk on processing Supplier delivery notes/ invoices and chasing Supplier credits and uplifts
- Meet all Health and Safety requirements

Essential
High Visual Accuracy
Good Microsoft Office skills - in particular Excel, Word and Outlook

Knowledge of Stock control
Warehouse Operations
Health & Safety procedures within a Warehouse environment

- MANUAL HANDLING
It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.

Additional Information:
Primarily a warehouse office environment, although working in the warehouse area is part of the daily routine
