Residential Children's Support Worker

Leader Health and Social Care is currently recruiting for a Support Worker for a Support worker around the Bishop Aucklands area.

The home for this residential can house up to as many as 15+ children at one time. This residential is all girls and if extremely active with their day to day activities.

(Please note, this role does not involve constant travelling from home to home and will only be based in 1 location, however being a **driver**is necessary)

Although experience is preferred, we are more than happy to review those with mínimal to no experience at all

Role:

- Providing support to young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a 1-1 or 2-1 basis
- Understanding the following individual health care plans
- Providing personal care when necessary
- Help create and maintain a secure and happy atmosphere
- Building a strong client relationship
- Assisting service users with day-to-day activities including medical appointments

You:

- Have experience of working with adults in a Health and Social Care setting (Can be professional or personal)
- Be patient, sensitive, and compassionate
- Are understanding, and have empathy
- Have a passion for improving the lifestyle of service users
- Ability to make everyday fun for the service users
- Are motivated and enthusiastic
- Have great communication skills
