Transitions to Employment Support Officers

This is a fantastic opportunity to join part of an established team to drive change and make a huge difference to the lives of young people who live in Kingston and support their transition to adulthood. About the role

The role of employment support officers is key in working directly with young people and supporting them to develop their skills and confidence to access work and traineeship opportunities.

You will:

- Create and develop employment and training opportunities for young people with SEND and provide tailored support to young people.
- Work directly with employers to carry out engagement work.
- Support young people to make a positive progression onto paid sustainable employment
- Research opportunities for young people and proactively work with companies to negotiate job trials and work experience opportunities.

Important Information

**Internal start dates**: Start dates will be agreed once all pre-transfer checks are completed. The usual transfer date will be in line with employees contracts unless agreement is reached between the existing and new line manager.
