Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with North East based Housing Association to appoint a permanent Maintenance Surveyor. The role offers agile working opportunities which pays £34,976.

**Maintenance Surveyor - Housing Association - About the Role**:

- Attend properties to carry out inspections and assess damage/disrepair (including voids); establish its cause and determine responsibility
- Identify existing and potential future maintenance issues and report them to the Property Services Team
- Supervise contractors work on site as necessary and report concerns regarding performance and conduct to the Senior Maintenance Surveyor
- Carry out post inspections and scheduling of works within set timescales

**Maintenance Surveyor - Housing Association - What You Need**:

- ONC/HNC/NVQ qualification or similar professional qualification
- Full Driving License - essential
- knowledge and understanding of building construction, maintenance, and social housing legislation
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Health and safety legislation knowledge
