We are seeking an Insurance Building Surveyor to join a fantastic independant team. The role is a REMOTE position with full technical equipment and guidance given. The role is focused on Domestic major Loss in excess of £100k.

Accordingly, experience within this sector would be advantageous, but not essential.

**Core Responsibilities**

The role will involve the validation of contractors reinstatement proposals and reporting on same in a standard form; the scoping of reinstatement works, working with contractors to receive their proposal and also in some instances producingDescription of Works, full Tender Documents and carrying out the role of Contract Administrator, whilst suitablymanaging all reinstatement works on site, and liaising with all stakeholders.

There will also be the opportunity to be involved with traditional Building Surveying professional services, such asDilapidations Surveys, Schedules of Condition; Building Surveys and Reports for Acquisition and Leasehold; SpecificDefect Analysis Reporting; Maintenance Plans; work in relation to historic buildings; Measured Surveys and assisting in developing our team of Graduates, depending on the level of experience.

It is generally envisaged however that the majority of day-to-day work shall involve work within the insurance sector.
