**Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)**
**1 day a week required in Central London**
Pertemps Managed Solutions excited to be working with one of the UK’s largest Insurance Brokers who are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinkingcompany that are rapidly expanding due to continued success in the insurance market.You will be responsible for managing the IT/OT and Information Security strategy, Information Security standards, governance, policies, Information Security guidelines, InformationGovernance, Security and Information Governance.
**Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) responsibilities**:

- Undertake an Information Governance advisory position to manage Information Governance related matters and provide guidance and advice where appropriate.
- Lead the companies Information Security and Information Governance. Work with business leaders to ensure security is maintained and communicated.
- Report to the group European CIO and as a trusted consultant to implement the Information Security policy, development and monitoring.

**Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) accountabilities**:

- Implement and update all Information Security and Information Governance policies.
- Management of staff that deliver all security and operational compliance within that function.
- Be responsible for all incident response planning including investigation and reporting of security risks.
- Identify ever changing threat models and vulnerabilities to the business.
- Responsible for risk and compliance based assessments
- Become the companies advocate for all Information Security/Governance, including all staff, customers and 3rd parties promoting the awareness, training and benefits to the organisation

**Experience and knowledge requirements for the Chief Information Security Officer role**:

- Proven track record of implementing/managing Information Security and Information Governance in a regulated environment
- Batchelor's degree level (or equivalent), with demonstrable professional experience gained over at least 5 years
- Understanding of industry standard IT and Security process frameworks
- Experience in project delivery of information and IT Security projects
- Experience of working with third party vendors to deliver software supply, support and solutions
