**1.** Work will involve working in any area of current operations which include refuse, kerbside sort recycling and garden waste collections and any other duties that may be required.

**2.** Carry out responsibilities in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring that Health and Safety matters are at the forefront at all times.

**3.** Carefully load material into vehicles clearing all spillages made during operations.

**4.** Return all containers neatly to the curtilage of the property.

**5.** To assist the driver when manoeuvring the vehicle especially when reversing to ensure safety of yourself and the public.

**6.** Ensure all operational work is carried out to the required standard and to the complete satisfaction of the Supervisor.

**7.** Ensure that all allocated works are completed within the planned timescales and that all non-collections are reported using the in-cab system.

**8.** Be polite and courteous to colleagues and all members of the public whilst carrying out duties.

**9.** Behave at all times in a manner that is befitting of an employee and that you do not act in a manner which may bring the Company, the Client or its agents into disrepute.

**10.** Ensure that you follow the instructions of any authorised person at all times.

Support other crews as directed by the Supervisor to ensure services are completed on time.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: £27,560.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
