Due to an internal promotion, Curo, Bath, is actively seeking a Junior Fire Safety Officer to join our Building Safety team. This team comprises technical experts in building safety, covering areas such as fire, asbestos, electrical, gas, and water, all dedicated to fulfilling our legal and moral obligations to ensure the safety of our residents in their homes.

**What you'll be doing**

As a Junior Fire Safety Officer, your primary focus will be the effective management of Curo’s fire risk assessment programme. This involves assigning tasks to various teams and ensuring their completion. Additionally, you will be leveraging your fire safety knowledge to assist colleagues across the organisation.

As you develop into a full compliance supervisor over a staged set of milestones, you'll play a pivotal role in prioritising investment areas, auditing the quality of our Fire Risk Assessments, and contributing to the development of our comprehensive fire safety strategy. We provide training and development opportunities to support your success in this role.

**More about you**

The successful Junior Fire safety officer will ideally have:

- At least 10 months experience in fire safety
- Relevant fire safety qualifications
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Proficient in Office 365
- Management of Contractors
- Risk management skills

You will also have a commitment to delivering first class customer service and ensuring maintenance services are carried out to a high standard.
