DESCRIPTION

Are you an Insurance Adviser or Account Handler with experience of Personal Lines insurance, particularly Home & Motor, seeking a new opportunity?
THE OPPORTUNITY:
NJR Recruitment are delighted to bring to market an excellent opportunity for a Personal Lines Account Handler to join a regional insurance brokerage in their Staffordshire-based office.
As Account Handler, you will support the company by managing the renewals of home and motor insurance policies for an allocated portfolio of clients. You will need to be able to demonstrate professionalism and consistent competence when dealing with the needs and demands of clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain and service an existing book of private clients.
- You will also negotiate and agree terms and cover.
- Take instructions from new clients, ensuring cover commences at the correct time, all relevant paperwork is completed, premium is collected, and relevant records and diary entries are created.
- Take instructions from existing customers in respect of alterations to existing policies, ensuring insurers are notified and records updated.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Proven experience within an insurance environment, from an insurer or broking background.
- Will have knowledge and experience of handling home and motor insurance policies.
- Excellent communication skills, in both a verbal and written manner.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with different stakeholders.
- Ideally be Cert CII qualified or be willing to work towards.
