Enterprise Sales Executive

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Robertson Sumner is a leading recruitment agency and we are recruiting for a Solution Sales Director for our client, a Fortune 500-ranked global provider of hardware, software, cloud, and service solutions.
Our client provides clients the guidance and expertise needed to define, architect, implement and manage technology today while transforming for tomorrow.
The Solution Sales team provides specialist sales expertise, technical solution knowledge, and consultancy and advisory services to our client's sales teams in order to proactively identify and close services and solutions opportunities.
The Solution Sales Director sets the vision and objectives for pre-sales specialist support.
They drive growth in our client's strategic areas and ensure teammates are appropriately trained and motivated in order to effectively serve our client's clients.
The Solutions Sales Director is held accountable for driving our client's Cloud and Services Delivery strategic agendas and collaborates with other Sales Directors to ensure the vision, goals and plans of execution tie into divisional sales requirements.
In addition, the Solution Sales Director is responsible for ensuring the Solution Sales team meets defined sales growth targets and promotes a culture of a high-performance to Solution Sales teammates.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach and develop the team, to promote teammate satisfaction through mentoring, development, and career planning; creating a high performing team with a strong succession benchmark, enabling career progression.
Define and implement the strategic aims and objectives for the solution sales to ensure year on year solution sales growth, and also translate the overall budget into appropriate sales targets for the solution sales teams.
Ensure the solution sales teams achieve their GP target by driving and delivering pre-sales specialist support on Cloud and Services Delivery.
As part of the country leadership team, provide strong and visible direction, ensure teammates are coached and motivated in order to realise their full potential and sell effectively to our client's clients.
Champion a robust and concise pre-sales methodology; scope, design, and architect best-inclass solutions for our client's clients.
Drive a culture and environment that promotes cross functional collaboration with internal and external teams in order to ensure effective delivery of our client's long-term strategic aims, and a positive working environment.
Act as senior sponsor, actively coach and participate in key client engagements as and when required.
Think strategically and tactically to identify and focus on growth areas and scalability by overseeing appropriate redistribution and retention rates, and follow-up with all potential business development leads in order to maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure accurate forecasting through the regular presentation of quarterly targets and results to the management team.
Maintain extensive knowledge of the market in which our client operates, and anticipate and proactively pre-empt new trends and challenges, then put in place initiatives in line with those new trends.
Engage directly with strategic vendors and partners and attend partner events and conferences, act as an ambassador for our client's brand.
Recommend and oversee the implementation of process, system and organisational changes and continuous improvement efforts.
Define and leverage client servicing standards to drive solution sales within key accounts by providing strategic input and guidance.
Accountable for articulating and aligning the functional strategy in line with that of the business by providing enough tools and resources to teammates to ensure the optimum delivery of the strategy against our client's goals.
