**About The Role**

**The Role**

Key responsibilities will include supervising and co-ordinating the Electrical Engineering Department to ensure that maintenance and repairs of all Port plant, equipment and installations are completed efficiently and safely. Health and Safety of the team will be of primary importance with company policies and procedures adhered to throughout all tasks.

You will be comfortable motivating and managing and have excellent planning and communication skills. you will be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers and contractors.

The ability to prioritise work tasks in an often changing port environment and demonstrate the appropriate levels of flexibility to meet these challenges is essential.

Competent IT skills (Microsoft, Excel) to allow you to process workflow tasks, maintenance records, employee timesheets and monthly reports.

Willingness to work overtime as required, including evening and weekend working, and participate in the on-call rota. You must have a full driving licence.

- Driving licence essential
- Must be a qualified Electrician with a good working knowledge of all Port operational plant and infrastructure

Risk Management, Situation Evaluation and Analysis, Ability to Identify and Anticipate needs
