**Senior Account Manager - Software Sales** is required to join the Construction Industry’s foremost software company. Our client, the leading IT systems and services provider specialising in the construction and home-building markets. Withrevenues of £45m and offices across the world, they are a global software business with an established presence in the UK, USA, Australia and Asia. The company has over 300 staff and there are over 60,000 users of their products.

The **Senior Account Manager - Software Sales** will create long-term, trusting relationships with the company’s customers. He or she, will oversee a portfolio of assigned accounts, develop new business from existing clients and actively seeknew sales opportunities.

**Selected responsibilities within the Senior Account Manager - Software Sales**
- Serve as the main point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements on the right commercial terms.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
- Maintain an accurate sales forecast and track key account metrics.
- Maintain accurate customer information in the company CRM system
- Prepare reports on account status.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

**Required or Desired Skills and Experience of the Senior Account Manager
- Software Sales**
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint)
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Experience working in the IT and/or construction sector
