**Position Overview**:
The role of the Research Assistant is to support with the Satisfaction team undertaking a variety of takes from setting up surveys and delivering high quality outputs. The post holder needs to be comfortable working with data, ensuring high-quality data management, in line with good practice and appropriate legislative requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the social housing sector and is confident working alongside our other researchers. In addition, the Research Assistant needs to have exceptional organisational skills, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, strong IT skills and a positive approach to problem-solving. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Scripting surveys on Acuity’s existing system (PACT) - setting up new clients and surveys templates, scripting surveys and ensuring the correct survey and CATI settings, analysis codes, quotas, report settings and question sets are in place
- Assist the data team with scripting surveys and creating dashboards within our new survey system (Forsta).
- Checking new surveys that have been set up - that they match client requirements, are set up correctly (question set, routing and responses), quotas, checking postal questionnaires for accuracy, routing, grammar and regulatory compliance.
- Producing draft survey research reports in our software system including producing data analysis charts, benchmarking figures and charts, reviewing coding responses and highlighting in reports.
- Supporting the benchmarking team with data analysis and report production.
- Data file loading - checking, cleaning client data files and loading them into systems
- Assisting client managers and report writers with queries from clients
- Data analysis for insight work
- Producing research outputs for clients by extracting data from our systems, checking outputs and then sending securely to clients to agreed timeframes
- Producing summary survey reports for our clients for submission to the Regulator of Social Housing, including running representative reports
- Checking other colleagues' work to a high standard
- Liaising with operational teams, quality checking of materials and deliverables
- Providing holiday cover for other members of the team.
- Additional tasks may be required to be undertaken from time to time to meet business requirements.

**Skills, Educations & Experience**
- **Required**_
- Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience; 2-3 years’ experience working in research field)
- Highly experienced in Microsoft Suite; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Data analysis skills - statistics background with the ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, handle confidential and sensitive information and work with large data sets
- Excellent written English
- Preparing high-quality data, written & visual client reports for internal staff
- Ability to work independently, organise and prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Advanced data presentation and data analytics skills
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Experience of working for a market research company
- Knowledge of trends and challenges affecting the social housing sector
- Experience of WordPress
