**INDEPENDENT VISITORS - BRADFORD**

**A Volunteer Befriending Scheme**

Can you make a difference to a young person's life and become an independent visitor for looked after children?

An independent visitor is a volunteer who is matched with a young person living in Bradford and with foster care, residential homes or similar.

We need monthly visits for a minimum of two years.
- Have fun taking young people on outings and maybe share a hobby, sport or interest
- Offer support and a listening ear and be a positive influence in a young person’s life and help build self
- esteem and confidence

**You don’t need any special qualifications. All expenses over training and volunteering will be covered.**

We are looking for reliable and dependable people from all walks of life. We will provide training and on-going support and expenses will be paid.
