The Afan Lodge is a well-established and highly regarded hotel located in picturesque Afan Valley. Its hotel is popular with cyclists and walkers looking to explore the beautiful area. **Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist the kitchen staff in basic food preparation.
- Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment, dishes and utensils.
- Maintain the kitchen area, ensuring it remains tidy and organised at all times.
- Uploading and putting away deliveries.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with the Company’s policies.
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**
- Basic food preparation skills.
- Understanding of kitchen and cleaning equipment.
- Understanding of cleaning kitchen surfaces and areas.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen health and safety practices.
- Positive and approachable manner.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Good team player.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £5.28-£11.43 per hour
