**Location**:Home based with occasional travel to Magna’s offices as and when required

**Salary**:£29,844.00 PA

**37 hours per week**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Income Officer within the Income Team for an enthusiastic and committed individual.

The successful applicant will be part of a team responsible for the collection of rent and other debt owing to Magna

You will be responsible for regularly monitoring accounts and ensure appropriate action is taken on debts in line with Magna’s income management policies and procedures, in a timely manner.

Making, recording, and monitoring arrangements to pay with customers.

Making sure a payment culture exists at the start of every new tenancy and licence and continues throughout to ensure that customers are fully aware of their payment responsibilities and Magna’s policy on debt

**Essential**
- Minimum of one year’s experience in social housing or similar environment
- Have good knowledge of housing law and welfare benefits such as, universal credit and housing benefit
- Have experience of debt recovery ideally within a social housing environment
- Excellent Microsoft skills, including word, excel and outlook
- Experience using the Aareon QL computer system is desirable
