Purple are looking for a **Head of Creative Operations** to join the team.

Creative Operations. They’re at the heart of the agency bringing together people, process and technology. The #1 objective is to continually evaluate and improve the way work is done within the agency. Efficient creative operations bring structure, process, and metrics to the creative workflow to optimise timeliness, capacity, and costs.

Key Responsibilities:
**Resource Management**
Resource management provides the strategic oversight across all of our creative services departments. It gets the very best out of all the talent and knowledge across our entire agency. Yes, our resource department do allocate people to tasks, that is very much part of the job. But the wider role is about far more than mere human Tetris. Our client services are completely focused on delivering live projects for their clients. Our resource department take a much wider view. They look at what’s needed across the whole agency.

Key responsibilities
- Line Management and responsibility for the resource management team, mentoring the team and providing a solution-based service.
- Establishing the process and mechanics for utilisation reporting to monitor capacity levels of perm staff to inform recruitment plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties to cope with increased volumes or specialist skills to deliver specific projects.
- Manage the collation of skills levels within the teams, identifying skills gaps, and working with service leads to diversify skills.
- Planning for growth, structural and work type changes based on evolving client requirements.

Behind every great project or piece of work lies a solid process. A structured process is the agency’s engine, enabling us to run smoothly and efficiently to achieve great results. The Purple Way is a clear and defined roadmap, from briefing to project delivery, for the projects we undertake for both our clients, and us. The Purple Way needs to accommodate client specific procedures, diverse range of workstreams and compliance regulations.

Key responsibilities
- Help to develop and promote the Purple Way of working across all agency departments.
- Work with the wider operations team to incorporate the Purple Way into our induction programme.
- Support the delivery of a consistent project reconciliation process across the business to drive greater understanding of quoted vs actual.
- Support better management reporting, information flow, and sharing of data in a consistent format

Knowledge, Skills + Experience:

- Leadership - Ability to lead projects and initiatives involving representatives from across the agency.
- Communication - Able to communicate at all levels, considering what is relevant to the audience.
- Systems - Inquisitive with systems and how they can enhance and support the process.
- Presentation - Ability to present ideas and results to different stakeholders across the business.
- Initiative - The ability to work alone and take a lead when hurdles arise or when tasks require completion.
- Planning - Ability to step back and ensure that plans are clearly set out for everyone to follow.
- Problem Solving - Adapting to the ever-changing environment and reacting quickly to meet challenges.
- Commercial Awareness - The ability to make decisions whilst understanding the commercial impact it may have.
- Process Compliant - Establish, maintain, and audit agency procedures.

**Experience**
- Agency experience, including resource management.
- Systems and workflow management.
- Line management.
