**What will the apprentice be doing?**

We are looking to recruit someone who would like to work within our payroll department, to be involved with the calculations, learning how to manually calculate payroll, also learning current payroll legislation.

We are looking for someone who is a good team player, has a good eye for detail and someone who can show discretion due to the sensitive information

Key Responsibilities:

- The processing of Urbaser’s monthly payrolls on the Iris Cascade HR & Payroll system
- Tax Year End (P60’s/P11d’s)
- Pension arrangements including auto-enrolment and TUPE Pension schemes
- Reconciliation of specific payroll accounts and certain 3rd party payments
- Handle and respond to internal and external Payroll queries.
- Liaise with the HR & Finance departments where appropriate

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

The successful applicant will complete and obtain a Business Administration Qualification through Learning Curve Group.

You will be taught through:

- 4-6 Weekly 1-2-1 Sessions with your tutor
- 20% Off The Job Training
- The course is an 18-month-long programme
- Training will be completed virtually in the workplace in your working hours

- There will be the opportunity for a full-time role upon completion of the apprenticeship.
