We wish to appoint enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to support our classroom teachers in providing an environment conducive to learning and inclusive of all pupils. The postholder will be required to supervise pupils and assist where appropriate to ensure that effective learning outcomes are achieved in addition to supporting the pastoral, social and welfare needs of pupils during their attendance at school.

The positions will be based in our Pre-Prep, which will be worked across 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, over 37 weeks per year. These positions also have the option to provide after-school care for children aged 3 to 7 across 2 evenings per week (until 6pm), which attracts an increased salary payment.

We work very hard to be as family-focused as possible and are very fortunate to have such supportive parents; we are never short of volunteers for the many school trips that the children enjoy and for all the varied events that take place. It is lovely to see not only parents but grandparents taking an active role in the school.

**Outdoor focused** - At King Edward’s the outdoor environment is a natural extension of the classroom and we are proud of our status as a Forest School. As well as allowing children to engage directly with the environment, outdoor learning also brings together many different elements of the curriculum and enriches school life.
