We are recruiting a School maintenance and grounds person to work for Stafford Grammar School (“the School”). The School is based on one site, which has a number of buildings and associated playing fields and amenities.

As part of the grounds and maintenance team your duties will include:

- Opening up and checking the building and grounds at the start of the school day.
- Setting out for assemblies and other meetings, gatherings and functions.
- All types of ground works from sweeping to setting out sports pitches
- All general maintenance tasks from minor DIY to helping on bigger projects.
- Painting
- Fault finding and rectifying
- Working alongside other employees
- Daily, weekly and monthly site checks.
- Moving of parcels and furniture.
- Help out with health and safety checks.
- Working with the premises manager.

Driving licence not essential

You will be reporting to the premises manager.
