Archway are delving into the big wide world of Local Bus Services and as a result we are going to be looking for Bus Drivers

The route you will be doing is the 74/75 Fleetwood to Preston service linking the rural communities with the Fylde Coast and Preston, we do not envisage there to be any crossover between our Schools and Private Hire team (unless you express a wish to do it)

The route in itself demands a certain sort of driver, someone who doesn't mind country lanes, someone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of town service and head out into the sticks. This service is a lifeline to the rural communities and we have to ensure we provide them with the best possible service and we have the best possible team to do it. Alot of the route is Hail and Ride and you must be helpful and accomodating to our customers, the timing on the route is such that you are able to give them plenty of time and make their experience travelling with us the best it can be. A friendly attitude is a must and i expect my team to greet everyone with a smile and wish them a 'Good Morning/Good Afternoon'. These communities rely on the bus service to be prompt, punctual and reliable and that is what they are going to get

We will be operating a fleet of brand new ADL E200 MMC's, all fully route branded. Ticketer Ticket Machines will be in use on the buses and we will be taking contactless payments aswell as selling the full range of LCC tickets.. They will have a full CCTV system and on-board tracking fitted for both your safety and the safety of our customers. I am a firm believer of making life as easy as possible and having the right tools to do the job.

Breaks will be taken in Poulton at a private dedicated office/brew room and depot transfers will be available from Poulton to Fleetwood for drivers leaving from/going back to the depot. You will have a dedicated service manager who will manage the day to day operation of the service and troubleshoot any problems you may have.
