**The Opportunity**:

- This role is based at our Helicopters division in Yeovil in a manufacturing environmentThe main scope of this opportunity is to:
- Support the production team in achieving efficient working through supporting tasks
- Assist the shop floor personnel to ensure availability of gauges and tooling to support production activities to allow pre kitting and measuring of production parts

- Production Orders
- Closing of production orders
- Assisting with the splitting of existing production orders, maintenance of dates / information on SAP.
- Printing sketches and check sheets and other documentation
- Gauges/Tooling
- Booking in/out of all tooling and gauges from the stores carousel
- Ensuring calibration labels are issued to all applicable equipment
- Storing in the correct locations
- Collecting all out of date equipment from the shop floor/sending to calibration department
- Physical Logistics
- Drive/move equipment to and from other departments around site
- Move tooling/equipment around the shop floor to the specified areas
- Pre Kitting: Ensure all required tooling/equipment requested is issued in a timely manner to allow pre kitting activity across key machines/inspection
- Communication: Liaise with all relevant personnel in a proactive approach e.g. supervision/shop floor operators/other departmental personnel/management

This role operates on a shift basis.**What we are looking for**:

- You must be a team worker who is customer focused and a good communicator
- You must be computer literate
- Experience/understanding of manufacturing process and support activities would be desirable
