Bristol is a vibrant city with one of the most successful economies outside London. However, this has led to a reliance on car use that can cause issues such as poor air quality and is contrary to the Council’s declared Climate and Ecological Emergencies.

Bristol City Council’s City Transport Service is looking for an enthusiastic Batchelor-level student (NQF/QCF Level 6) to work for a year and assist in their varied portfolio that includes: setting and managing transport policy and strategies; working with developers to ensure new-build premises provide suitable transport infrastructure; delivering projects to provide new and improved facilities for active travel and public transport, including the city’s first Liveable Neighbourhood.

This role will enable You to experience life at the front line of delivering transport improvements in a major city, working with numerous teams from the City Transport Service and beyond.
