**The Role**

We are looking for a Spa attendant who would enjoy work in a luxury Historic Hotel environment. The Spa attendant will support the Spa Manager in all aspects of the Spa’s guest experience, cleanliness and operational excellence to ensure exceptional guest service is maintained.

**Overview of the role**
- To ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the spa at all times in line with spa standards checklist
- Identify any deficiencies and report to the maintenance department immediately. Report all maintenance issues to line Manager.
- Overall awareness of replacement amenities, product and linen around the spa continuously whilst on duty
- To share responsibility in stock control and report any ordering requirements to the Spa Manager
- To adhere to the opening and closing procedures of the department
- To maintain hygiene standards at all times whilst cleaning public areas in the spa
- Assist in the general cleaning of the department and light maintenance of the equipment
- Cleaning of changing rooms and toilets, continuously checking the standards and reclean throughout the day
- Floor coverings to be swept, mop throughout the day to maintain the exceptional standards
- Pool areas and changing rooms, to remove the excess water and to maintain the high standards of cleanliness
- Ensuring towels and robes left by guests in spa areas are folded and/ or cleared according to standards
- Restock lockers as per spa operations manual ensuring lockers meet standard.
- Ensure all towels and robes throughout the department are restocked, folded and presented to standard.
- Ensure vanity areas in changing rooms are clean, hair and make-up free and always presented to standard.
- Maintain all relaxation and treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Company standards and to comply with statutory legislation.
- To maintain an efficient turnaround of laundry throughout the spa
- Assist in the monitoring and control of the pool in relation to standards
- Be able to carry out both pool and spa tests and take corrective action where necessary.
- Ensure consumables are topped up for facilities in line with training procedures
- Providing excellent service in the spa café, taking orders, serving food and drinks to the spa guests.
