A great opportunity to support the HR function with administrative duties and advice to employees, ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities of the HR Administrator**
- Coordinate all new hire paperwork, issuing employment contracts, PHR setup, administration of right to work and pre-employment background checks.
- Co-ordinating the new starter on-boarding process, arranging essential onboarding inductions.
- Draft documentation supporting employment matters including (but not limited to) contractual changes, references, benefits etc.
- Updating and maintaining our HR database (PeopleHR) and HR records
- Monitor and generate reports on employee data, including absence, holiday, vetting.
- Co-ordinate the probationary review process and collating annual development data.
- Manage the HR inbox and respond to day-to-day queries from managers and employees.
- Provide comprehensive HR support to the HR department.
- Operate in line with the company’s policies and procedures, best practice and current legislation at all times.
- Conduct exit interviews and process leavers.
- Act as note taker and advisor at disciplinary hearings, grievances and absence review meetings
- Supporting HR Manager with employee relation cases
- Supporting with HR projects as and when required
- Be a natural advocate of our Company values.
- Additional activities/ support as required.
**Skills / Experience for the HR Administrator**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience and proven track record in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential
- Ability to handle professionally sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to draft correspondence, with excellent written and verbal skills
- Exceptional organisational skills, ability to deal with complexity, multi-task and prioritise high workload to meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with strong people skills
- Highly organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
