**Project Planner**

**Overview**:
Our Project Planner will play a fundamental role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget at our West Midlands Office.

Are you looking for your next Project Planner role? With excellent communication skills, you, as a Project Planner will have a pivotal role at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that include all tasks, dependencies, and milestones, using project management software.
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays or issues that may arise during construction.
- Regularly track project progress, update schedules as needed, and provide reports to project stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure everyone is informed about project schedules and milestones.
- Collaborate with the finance and procurement teams to monitor project budgets and assist in cost management.
- Maintain accurate records of project schedules, reports, and historical data for future reference.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Competent in all aspects of planning and project control with a proven understanding of planning and rescheduling techniques.
- Proven experience in project planning within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software, ASTA and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in a wide range of contracts and work types.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of the relevant health and safety regulations.

This is an office-based role and would require the successful Project Planner to attend Monday-Friday at Unit 1C-1D Pearsall Drive, Oldbury, B69 2RA OR Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX.
