Derby, United Kingdom Rolls-Royce Full time

**Job Description**:
**Case Specialist**

**Full Time**

**Derby/Hybrid - minimum 3 days on site per week
**Why Rolls-Royce?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Case Specialist **to join the team in Derby.

As a Case Specialist, you will provide comprehensive support to the Management team in areas related to grievances, disciplinary, capability, and absence management.

This role demands involvement in the investigation of multi-layered cases and requires exceptional expertise in resolving multi-layered HR issues. While the position does not involve team management, it necessitates a manager-level skill set due to its focus on managing intricate cases, including grievances, tribunals, external complaints and so on, with a deep understanding of employment law and ACAS codes.

Work with us and we’ll welcome you into an inclusive culture, one that invests in your continuous learning and development, and gives you access to a wide breadth and depth of experience.

We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and remarkable benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally mentored and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

**What you will be doing:
In this role you will effectively ensure HR cases, from initiation to resolution ensuring compliance and applicable service protocols, company policies and legal requirements. You will also;
- Assist in the investigation of cases gathering evidence, conducting interviews and analysing data.
- Work with the HR team to design and deliver relevant solutions to combat issues and trends within the businesses.
- Build and maintaining key stakeholder relationships to ensure prompt and consistent case management aligned with company values and protocols.
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to managers in case resolution and key people skills enabling them to handle issues informally.
- Deliver training and coaching to people managers in case management skills and processes. Ensure all cases are appropriately risk assessed and implement appropriate support and advice strategies.

**Who we’re looking for:
At Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. These values form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.
- Good background in HR with broad knowledge across employee relations: Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence and Performance management.
- Validated experience in end-to-end case management, including attending hearings, investigations and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, ACAS guidelines and regulations related to discrimination, victimisation conduct, harassment and capability.
- Notable communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous experience working in a highly unionized environment. CIPD Qualified or equivalent HR certification is desirable.

We are an equal opportunities employer. We’re committed to developing a diverse team and an inclusive working environment. We believe that people from different backgrounds and cultures give us different perspectives. And the more perspectives we have, the more successful we’ll be. By building a culture of respect and appreciation, we give everyone who works here the opportunity to realise their full potential.
