Counter Assistant

**Who we are**

Carlo's is an extremely popular fish & chip and ice cream café / takeaway business located in Alnwick town centre. We are about to enter our very busy spring and summer months which see Alnwick thrive with tourists. As a result of this we are on the look out for some extra team members to join us.

**What you will do**

Your main role is to take and process orders both in the café and for our takeaway customers. You will be required to work at pace serving food and drinks. Once you have mastered this you will also be trained up on serving our delicious home made ice cream and milkshakes. Part of the role also involves food preparation making sure we are stocked up during the day and keeping the place clean and tidy for our customers to enjoy their experience.

**We need you to be**: Reliable, flexible, able to work as part of a team, friendly and willing to learn.

Experience preferred but not required as we can offer training on the go

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.00-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
