This fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Live in housekeeper to work in a beautiful large home in Chipping Norton Oxfordshire.

The residence is a 10 bed property, consisting of a Couple and their 3 young children. They are looking for an organised and proactive Live-in Housekeeper/Cook to assist with running of their weekend country home. The family employ a nanny, however the Housekeeper/Cook may be required for ad hoc baby sitting and so must be child-friendly. The family also employ a cleaner, a gardener, and a caretaker to help run their property. The housekeeper/cook will need to work to a high standard, be efficient and manage their time well, this is a 50/50 split role between Housekeeping and Cooking for the Principles mainly - also for dinner parties when the family has guests staying. This is a busy household with small children and staff, so the principles are looking for someone who thrives in this sort of environment. The principles are in residence from Friday until Monday (inclusive) and therefore the right person will be expected to keep on top on the household and prepare the residence ready for their arrival. Duties include but not limited to: - All housekeeping duties - Laundry and Ironing - Food and amenities, shopping - Cooking Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for the Principles - Cooking for occasional dinner parties.

The role is 45 hours a week and the working days are Thursday - Monday and the salary is up to £45K gross per annum. The accommodation is a beautiful detached 2 bedroom cottage which is situated close to the main house.
