**The Role**:
Can you lead and deliver an exciting programme of activities to help our students build skills, communities and confidence?

As part of the Student Activities and Opportunities team, this post will coordinate our ‘Give it a Go’ offer, comprising staff-programmed activities, trips and events, as well as opportunities run by our student societies - everything from dance and language classes, to day trips and coding workshops.

Researching trends and new attractions, you'll ensure the programme is relevant and engaging, with a focus on developing participation and access for key student groups, and ensuring affordable opportunities are on offer for students to make friends, develop skills, or try something new.

With experience of organising events or programme delivery, you'll enjoy working with others to produce diverse and dynamic events and opportunities, with a focus on impact. You’ll have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, good knowledge of health and safety, and the ability to manage budgets and monitor expenditure.

Providing specialist guidance and advice to support student groups, you’ll also be a skilled problem solver with the initiative to troubleshoot and generate solutions to challenges that arise.

You’ll be part of a supportive team committed to delivering outstanding activities and opportunities for our students. This is an exciting and varied role that allows you to work with inspirational student groups on their passions, and has plenty of opportunities for personal development.
