We are Flip Out UK. We are the UKs biggest and best adventure park brand We are now recruiting for an informative, bubbly, personable and engaging Receptionist to join our team.

Job Overview

As a receptionist, often you will be the first person that our guests meet. Guests will have various ways of joining us, whether they’ve booked online, on the phone or simply popped in to play for an hour, you will need to adapt to their circumstances to offer the best service We have some guests that have never been to Flip Out, others that come every time they get the chance We believe that every guest that joins us should all receive outstanding service You will be creating an environment where our guests thrive on your incredible personality and sense of Creating Unforgettable Experiences One Guest at a Time. You will ensure our guests Health, Safety & Wellbeing are kept in the highest regard at all times too.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming each and every guest into our park with absolute passion, professionalism and enthusiasm, you are the first person our guests will see
- Ensure you check in each and every guest professionally and swiftly ensuring you have delivered all the criteria set out in your training and induction
- Ensure every guest has completed a waiver before they use the park
- Cash & card handling
- Conducting and engaging our guests in their safety briefing following on from your training and induction
- Ensure excellent standards of housekeeping are maintained at all times
- Be the first point of contact for any accidents/incidents that may occur in your area of work
- Uphold our park rules at all times
- Follow all working regulation as set out in the companies employee handbook and where relevant specific reception regulations
- Report maintenance issues immediately to the court supervisor
- Escalate any complaints to your Shift Manager swiftly and professionally
- You will have the art of upselling down to a tea
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping at all times in every area of the park (not just the reception area)
- Interaction is the absolute key to creating unforgettable experiences one guest at a time and you will interact with all our guests from a simple smile to a great big high five

Who we look for
- A minimum of a year’s experience as a Receptionist
- Can create a fun, energetic environment
- Great communication and rapport building with guests of all ages
- Be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fantastic teamwork
- Ability to upsell offers to our guests
- Strong cash-handling skills
- Be personable, engaging, positive and bubbly
- This role is all about personality and the right attitude where you know nothing else other than making all our guests feel welcomed and cared for at all times

Working Conditions

We are looking for Receptionists to join us on a zero hour contract covering weekdays, weekends and School Holidays.

Our parks are large in scale and as such a degree of good fitness is essential as you will work your way around the park dealing with many matters on a day to day basis with the ability to stabilise yourself on our trampolines should you be required to and be required to stand for extended periods of time.

Rates of Pay & Benefits

16-17 year olds - £5.28 per hour

18-20 year olds - £7.49 per hour

21-22 year olds - £10.18 per hour

23 year olds + - £10.42 per hour
