Specific Requirements for Driver

Availability on at least five days per week Monday-Sunday

Pay is £32,500, 40 hours per week
- Employee must guarantee adherence to the highway code whilst using the company vehicle.
- Vehicle should remain parked at base when not in use: 26 Chase Road, London NW10 6QN. No parking is available onsite - the nearest stations North Action (central line) and Willesden Junction (London overground)
- Company vehicle only to be used for Dishoom business.
- Employee liable for parking/speed tickets if any received.
- Any accidents or other incidents should be reported immediately to Park Royal Ops Manager or Logistics Manager as appropriate.

Job Title: Food Delivery Walla - Dishoom

Job Summary:
As a food delivery walla at Dishoom, you will play a vital role in safely and efficiently transporting our delicious food and merchandise products from our Park Royal site to our cafés and delivery kitchens. You will be responsible for upholding our high food safety standards while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires excellent driving skills and a strong knowledge of food safety protocols as well as the physical ability to load and unload delivery vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Safely operate and maintain the delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and Dishoom's policies.

2. Adhere to Dishoom's strict food safety and hygiene protocols during thetransportation of food items to ensure quality and prevent contamination.

3. Ensure that food items are securely packaged and stored appropriately to maintain freshness and presentation during delivery.

4. Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery, double-checking items against purchase orders and confirming order completeness.

5. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.

6. Maintain meticulous records of deliveries, including temperature logs, delivery times, and any required documentation.

7. Maintain the company vehicle in accordance with Dishoom policies including pre and post shift checks and cleaning.

8. Collaborate closely with the Dishoom team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

2. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food industry.

3. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

4. Excellent driving skills, including the ability to navigate through different roads and weather conditions safely.

5. Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfilment and compliance with Dishoom's food safety protocols.

6. Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

7. Physical stamina to handle loading, unloading, and lifting of food items.

8. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and evenings.

Education and Experience:
1. Previous experience as a food delivery driver or in a similar driving role in the food industry.

2. Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications.
