**Unitrust Protection Services (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Supervisor to join our team.**

**Job Title: Security Supervisor**

**Location: London**

**Rate: £14:18**

**Contracted Hours: 56 Hours Average
- 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off, rolling roster**

**Role**:
As a Security Supervisor you will supervise all aspects of the client’s/tenants security requirements and support the Security Manager in the day-to-day running of the security function.

Further this position will form a key part in assisting the Security Manager with daily task and objectives that need to be adhered to in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreement (SLA). Further in the absence of the Site Manager you may be required to step up as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors.

- All Assignment Instructions / Operations Manual or Standard Operating Procedures are to be reviewed, understood and followed.
- Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard

- Be prepared to manage a wide variety and diversity of scenarios, people and challenges.
- Assist in the induction, development or ongoing training of new team members across the disciplines where appropriate.
- Act in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and our Code of Conduct

**Security Supervisor Duties**
- Ensure security records and logs up to date
- Allocation of site duties to Security Officers (Rotation, Breaks Etc)
- Admin duties to include: key audits, fire alarm tests, equipment status logs and card audits
- Assist in the Management of the Security contract at the Client’s premises
- Control, monitor and instruct the Security Officers alongside the Security Manager in procedures, including but not restricted to Assignment Instructions; SOP’s; Health & Safety and any Client/tenant instructions
- Ensure Assignment Instructions are adhered to at all times by security personnel
- Provide line management responsibility to Security Officers, including welfare issues under the guidance of the Security Manager and HR for example return to work interviews, notice of concerns in relation to poor performance/conduct etc
- Review Security Officer performance and development and report to the Security Manager
- Maintain a high standard of communication and good working relationship with all other Security personnel, Client, tenants and other service providers
- Administrative duties may include Time Gate scheduling
- To ensure each Site Handover is done, sent out and completed in full with all checks done and messages included.

**Essential Skills**:

- SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- A minimum of 12 months previous security supervisory experience overseeing large teams and events.
- Excellent oral, written communication skills, interpersonal skills and confidence
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to help solve problems and overcome challenges
- Self-confidence and an interest in self-development.
- Physically able to conduct all responsibilities associated with the roles documented
- Ability to work to instruction and on your own initiative where required
- Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office programmes
- Demonstrate an awareness of security threats which remain relevant and up to date in the context of the current environment
- Flexibility in regard to working practices, hours and responsibilities.
- First Aid at work or the ability to train and retain this qualification
- Operation of CCTV/access control communications in an appropriate manner

**Desirable Skills**:

- Exposure to relevant Protective Security or Counter Terrorism Advice
- Previous experience in technologies to detect security threats in any given environment
