**Neighbourhood Property Officer**

**We are actively seeking a Neighbourhood Property Officer to join our team.**

**The Company**: Scottish Borders Housing Association is a full-service, independent property management company that provides high-quality rental housing. We are the leader in the development of affordable, cooperative housing in Selkirk.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of property management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Able to communicate effectively with tenants, staff and other departments
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays when needed. Our office is closed on major holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of on-site units (renters, prospective tenants) including apartment leasing, maintenance, marketing and financial management.
- Prepare reports and documents in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
- Prepare invoices for invoices by tenants who have paid for rent.
- Manage all on-site personnel including maintenance, leasing and leasing manager, resident relations and staff. Ensure that staff are trained on procedures for check-in, check-out process, rent collection, resident relations etc.. Ensure that staff are properly equipped with necessary tools and materials.
- Coordinate with other departments (leasing, finance etc.)to ensure smooth running of properties from apartment leasing through financing to inspection through billing through tenant payment collection through online portal.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £34,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
