The Seven Tuns is a charming countryside pub located in the heart of one of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds. Our traditional pub offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, serving delicious food and beverages to locals and tourists alike. We take pride in providing an exceptional dining experience in a beautiful and historic setting.

The Seven Tuns is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our friendly front-of-house team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and have a memorable dining experience in our idyllic countryside pub.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests with a friendly demeanour, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Ensure that guests are comfortable and have a pleasant experience from the moment they arrive.
- Taking Orders: Present the menu, provide recommendations, and take food and drink orders accurately. Ensure any special dietary requirements or allergies are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serving Food and Drinks: Serve dishes and beverages promptly and professionally. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure that plates and glasses are presented beautifully.
- Checking on Guests: Regularly check in with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Clearing and Resetting Tables: Clear tables efficiently, reset them for new guests, and ensure the dining area remains clean and organized.
- Assisting with Billing: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and handle cash and card transactions.
- Maintaining Knowledge: Stay informed about the menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings. Be ready to answer questions and provide information about the pub and its history.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waitstaff to ensure seamless service. Communicate effectively to avoid delays and provide a cohesive dining experience.
- Adhering to Health and Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines and food safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.

**Requirements**:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or pub setting is preferred, but not essential.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Friendly and approachable attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A positive and professional appearance.

Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service is a plus.
