Turning Point Scotland’s Alcohol & Other Drugs Reachout service are offering the opportunity to work within their fantastic supportive team to provide rapid response to crisis and near fatal overdose.

**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Practitioner in the field of Alcohol and Other Drugs. As our Lead Practitioner, you will provide a short, focused period of support to each person and assertively engaging them with mainstream services such as alcohol and other drug services, community mental health and other partner organisations with whom you will continue to grow on our already excellent working relationships.

**About You**

You will have a genuine commitment and experience as a Lead Practitioner working with people in the Health and Social Care sector, Alcohol and other Drugs. Flexibility to work on a rolling two-week rota.

You will be supported by an incredibly approachable management team, some of whom have their own lived experience, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge whilst developing new skills.

Full UK Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle is preferred, but not essential.

Our Crisis Response Team operate from 9am to 9pm (7 days per week) on a rolling two-week work pattern (4 days one week and 3 days the next) which will allow for each team to work every second weekend to ensure an ‘out of hours’ engagement is available.
