Resource management provides the strategic oversight across all of our creative services departments. It gets the very best out of all the talent and knowledge across our entire agency. Yes, our resource department do allocate people to tasks, that isvery much part of the job. But the wider role is about far more than mere human tetris. Our client services are completely focused on delivering live projects for their clients. Our resource department take a much wider view. They look at what's needed acrossthe whole agency.
Key responsibilities
- Line Management and responsibility for the resource management team, mentoring the team and providing a solution-based service.
- Managing resource challenges to find appropriate resolutions.
- Overseeing the resource planning for complex projects.
- Managing the resource planning for pitch projects.
- Working with Client Services to forecast resource requirements.
- Working with the resource team and creative services leads to run daily/weekly meetings to ensure work is on track and placed with the right person.
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties to cope with increased volumes or specialist skills to deliver specific projects.
- Responsible for carrying out all IR35 assessments.
- Actively promote the Purple Way ?of working across all agency departments.
- Working with Creative Services leads on the collation of skills levels within the teams, identifying skills gaps, and working with service leads to diversify skills.
- Working with the wider team to plan for growth, structural and work type changes based on evolving client requirements.
- Support the process and mechanics for utilisation reporting to monitor capacity levels of perm staff to inform recruitment plans.
- Support better management reporting, information flow, and sharing of data in a consistent format.

Commercial Awareness The ability to make decisions whilst understanding the commercial impact it may have.
Process Compliant Establish, maintain, and audit agency procedures.
Experience
- Good understanding of the end-to-end agency process
- Experience of a fast-paced agency environment
- Systems and workflow management.
- Line management.
