**Retail Supervisor**

Our highly successful business is seeking additional career focused individuals to join our company as Retail Supervisors. Full time and part time considered.

Ideally, you'll either be a supervisor already or well on your way to becoming one with a wealth of operational experience in either retail, warehouse, service or production industries.

We're looking for individuals who are hungry to make a difference and willing to put the work in to achieve great results. In turn, the career progression opportunities are real.

Our team of supervisors are responsible for running the day to day operations / projects within:

- 3,000sq.m. store and warehouses - with 9,000+ product lines
- 7 day per week operation, no late night opening - 3, 4 or 5 day work patterns per week considered
- circa. 30 staff
- fast moving consumer goods, no direct selling
- emergency on-call response

You'll be trained in our operational needs and work procedures. You don't need any prior knowledge or experience of our product range but you do need a good understanding of driving operational standards and initiatives to maintain and increase sales.

We're looking for self motivated people who are willing to come and put the effort in to learning the ropes. You'll need to be highly organised, willing to liaise / work with managers and be approachable for staff. You must have good drive, a positive mindset and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills are a must.

**About the role**

As a Retail Supervisor, you need to be equally comfortable leading on your own or coordinating with other supervisors. You'll be expected to follow management instructions as well as come up with your own initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- team leadership
- staff efficiency, motivation and morale
- customer service standards
- operational standards and procedures
- stock availability
- store presentation
- sales displays, promotions and initiatives

**Your main areas of focus will include**:

- liaising with your manager
- planning, monitoring and reviewing the teams activities
- coordinating the work and activities
- managing shop floor and warehouse operations
- managing the goods inward, replenishment and till activities
- being a great management role model to those around you
- staff training, briefings, reviews and regular communication
- project management
- health and safety
- managing shrinkage, wastage and security
- key-holding and alarm call out duties

**Hours**
- The store is open 7 days (Monday to Friday 7-6, Saturday 8-5 and Sunday 10-4)
- Full time hours are 42.5 per week (usually over 5 days), planned on a rota basis
- Alternative hours considered on a pro-rata salary scale - minimum of 3 days per week
- No night shift/late night working planned

**About You**

To become a Retail Supervisor you will need to:

- thrive on the everyday challenges of modern, fast moving retail environments
- have a driving licence, access to a car and live within a 20-30 minute commuting radius
