**Personal Stories Specialist**:
We are looking for a Personal Stories Specialist to join our Communications Team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of MND through compelling story telling.

You will lead on identifying and gathering emotive personal stories from people affected by MND and ensuring a range of stories and content is available for colleagues across the Association. These stories will be used across internal and external communications to explain the Association’s work and demonstrate the need for further services and investment.

A vital part of this role will be building and maintaining strong relationships with people affected by MND, empowering them to share their stories. You will need to have an empathetic approach, and ensure their wishes and rights are respected.

As a Personal Stories Specialist, you will use your creative copywriting skills to tell the story and adapt content for multiple platform use; Identifying opportunities for personal stories to be shared across multiple communications channels, owned and earned.

A full UK driving license is required for this role.

**What are we looking for?**

Demonstrable empathy and experience of building trust and rapport with people, sometimes in difficult and sensitive circumstances.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce engaging content for different audiences.

Excellent organisational skills are essential, with the ability to plan and manage projects to tight deadlines.
