**Transport Planners -Penrith**

Due to the continued growth of the company and planned increase in our LGV fleet to in excess of 1,000 vehicles, we are looking for Traffic Planners to work from our Penrith Office.

The position involves:

- managing collections and deliveries, route planning, minimising empty loads and costs.
- managing drivers and dealing with day-to-day issues including drivers’ hours and health & safety.
- liaising with customers and drivers, providing high-quality communication.
- controlling vehicles and drivers over 7 days - i.e. being available to assist drivers by telephone.

Hours of work are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive. The company offers a competitive remuneration package, including a salary sacrifice pension scheme and life assurance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

- bulk haulage: 2 years (preferred)
