**Role description**:
Providing first class customer experience is at the heart of everything that we do and we’re looking to add to the excellent team that’s already in place.

To excel in this role, you need to be hard-working, have a good understanding of finance and/or systems and a strong desire to increase customer satisfaction.

Due to the varying roles included in our customer onboarding and ongoing success teams, there are options for this position to be customer facing, or if preferred, in the background being a more technically focused data cruncher

We have a range of expertise across our team that have come from a variety of professional backgrounds, examples include systems accountants, finance assistants, school administrators and systems support professionals. At IMP we firmly believe in recruiting for attitude and aptitude over fully baked skill. Full training and support will be provided on an ongoing basis.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Finance/budget data collation/manipulation in Excel to build/update systems or identify issues
- Work in a proactive manner identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Supporting Senior Software Consultants to deliver and maintain bespoke Multi Academy Trust budgeting software solutions
- Investigate, identify, and resolve system/data problems

**Skills and experience**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven problem solver with an analytical approach to solving system/data challenges
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formula and ideally to the level of utlising intermediate functions, such as lookup and ‘sumifs’
- Prior experience of working in a systems focused role, finance experience is advantageous
- Prior experience of school finances is advantageous
- Accounting qualifications/experience is desirable but not essential
