The Maritime Reserves are a people-focused organisation who recruit, train, support and deploy reservists around the world, in support of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. There is a requirement to deliver training and support to regional appraisals coordinators, reservists, reporting officers and regular personnel based within the units and the headquarters. The maintenance of digital training resources is required (training given to support this if needed); innovation and thinking ‘outside the box’ is encouraged to ensure that all types of learning needs are met with maximum accessibility and availability key for our reservists in particular. Working closely with the Faslane Appraisals Office and the Royal Navy Workforce Appraisals and Career Progression Team for the Reserves, you will be someone who can work collaboratively, build supportive relationships and who is able to listen to alternative perspectives and needs. Visiting each of the units, once every 18 months, this post does involve travel and the opportunity to get out into the regions to get to know the customer and the challenges they face.
